Description
The KA-BAR Becker Harpoon (BK18BK) is a compact, versatile fixed-blade knife designed for outdoor, camping, and bushcraft use.
It is highly regarded for its robust, full-tang construction, featuring a 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel blade.
The blade is a "harpoon" style, measuring approximately 4.5 to 4.56 inches in length, with a thickness of 0.165 inches. It features a flat-ground 1095 Cro-Van steel construction with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58 HRC.
The "BK" version features a black epoxy powder-coated blade and black, durable Ultramid (similar to Zytel) handle scales.
The included Celcon sheath is known for being very sturdy and, in many reviews, holds the knife very securely with good, tight retention. The sheath is MOLLE-compatible.
Yes, the sheath is designed with a removable, reversible nylon belt loop, allowing for easy conversion for left-handed, right-handed, or different carry positions.
The knife has an overall length of 9.375 inches.
