Because PROOF rifle barrels are engineered for thermal performance, they also move heat very effectively through the wall (thickness) of the barrel, greatly increasing heat transport and resulting in barrels that cool faster and maintain accuracy over longer sessions of fire.

Your bolt-action barrel will arrive ready for thread and chamber by your gunsmith. Your PR barrel will arrive threaded and chambered. Matched bolts are available as an option for PR-10® variants.
